Episode 1: This is my friend…he’s a poet

In our first episode, Scott and Meghan talk about how an encounter with a poet–and their simple act of kindness–made a huge difference in Scott’s life.

In January of 2002, Scott was at a crossroads–he was a technical writer writing manuals for software users but he longed for a community of poets. An encounter with the poet Li-Young Lee helped him find himself and a new direction.
